Details of the Serious Allegations The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous sexual offences – some of which involve some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021. A senior prosecutor commented, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” Scope of the Investigation These allegations come after what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley. The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.
