Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
