The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative featuring celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group features Teor (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the actions of the latest installment show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a violent initial meeting with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, invading the secret base, attacking the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as important members in House Halovar could help the party reach places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to form the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
