The three finalists have been recognised for their remarkable achievements over the last year. Agyemang helped the Lionesses win Euro 2025, Littler won the world title for the maiden time, and Perrin surged to prominence with a historic innings. Littler claimed this honour in 2024 after his sensational debut year. The finalists were announced live on a widely-listened-to radio show. The 2025 recipient will be announced during a live broadcast on the annual sports awards show on December 18th. The ceremony will be broadcast from seven in the evening GMT. Michelle Agyemang Age: 19 Sport: Football A mere three months after her international debut, Agyemang played a crucial and game-changing role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory. She came off the bench to score crucial late equalisers in both the knockout stage games. Her incredible contributions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent. Subsequently, she was awarded the Golden Girl award for the finest emerging star on the continent. She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the world's best under-21 female player. Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October. Her magnificent 42-ball century in The Hundred is the fastest by an English woman in T20s. It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a premier tournament. Perrin came in second place in the batting rankings and was named the young player of the year by the PCA. "I'm deeply humbled to be nominated for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin.
